Dr. Tim Ansley is Owner of Inverness Eye Care and President of Alabama Eye Partners, LLC. Dr. Ansley is a native of Helena, AL and completed his undergraduate studies at Samford University in 2009. He attended the University of Alabama-Birmingham School of Optometry where he was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa National Optometric Honor Society, Vice President of the American Optometric Student Association and founder and President of UABSO's sports vision club. Dr. Ansley completed his training at the Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center, Retinal Consultants of Alabama and Cool Springs Eye Care of Franklin, Tennessee.
Since graduation, He was appointed to the board of directors of the Birmingham Optometric Society and served as President in 2018. He is also a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) and the Alabama Optometric Association (ALOA). He was appointed to the ALOA Leadership Optometry Class in 2017 and to the ALOA board of directors in 2018. The ALOA nominating committee elevated Dr. Ansley to Executive Board of ALOA in 2021, he is now serving as President-Elect of the association. Dr. Ansley was awarded "Young Optometrist of the Year" by the Alabama Optometric Association in 2019. He is currently Government Relations chair for the Alabama Optometric Association. In the community, Dr. Ansley has provided vision screenings for local elementary schools and participated in health fairs, and is team optometric physician for Samford University Athletics.
Dr. Ansley and his wife, Kendall, have a precious daughter Blake (11), twin boys Jackson and Baker (9), and son, Graham (7). The Ansley's are members at Church of the Highlands Riverchase and currently reside in Shelby County.
